Students will need a spiral notebook for classwork and homework.
Students will need a section in their looseleaf binder for handouts.
Students will need a pencil and eraser for taking notes and working problems.
Students will need graph paper for certain topics.

Notebook Organization

August 25, 2006

We will be using the “interactive notebook.” Each day you will begin a fresh page in your notebook.

On the LEFT side you will write the date, copy the objective and homework, and complete the drill.

We will continue on the LEFT side with notes and vocabulary.

On the RIGHT side you will work any problems. This can be problems I present to you, problems from a worksheet, or problems from a textbook.

Wherever you leave off in class, you will continue in your notebook by doing your homework.

The next class period, you will begin on a fresh page on the LEFT side.
